IARCA represents Indiana agencies which provide services to abused, neglected, and delinquent children, as well as to children who are in need of mental health treatment. IARCA works with children and their families to achieve outcomes that promote improved functioning, safety, permanency, well-being, educational success, and employment.
As a leading voice for these children and families, IARCA works in partnership with state agencies to advocate for adequate resources, best practices, and the highest quality of services across the array of prevention, early intervention, out-of-home care, and aftercare.
IARCA promotes that children and families receive the right services at the right time for the right length of time. IARCA’s advocacy centers on work with the Indiana General Assembly, state agencies, the Congress of the United States, and appointed Commissions and Study Committees.
